The primary purpose of this website is to facilitate the process of data collection and analysis with respect to all types of percutaneous cardiac and vascular interventions done in our country.

         For this we would request you to register yourself on this website with the National Intervention Council – Cardiological Society of India by filling up the simple form available here. The registration can either be in an individual capacity as an interventional cardiologist performing procedures independently or as a member of a team of cardiologists or a hospital. To avoid duplicacy of data submission we would request your co-operation in this matter. Either the hospital/Cath lab can have a username and password and the responsibility will be given to the chief cardiologist of the team working there OR interventional cardiologists can register in their individual capacity ensuring that their data is not also duplicated in the hospital figures. With regard to departments of cardiology (in institutions or corporate hospitals), it is expected that a mutually agreed policy will be predecided before obtaining registrations.

         The user friendly data submission forms are expected to be ready for use on the website by the 1st week of August 2006. It is anticipated that with the facility of submitting data anytime/anywhere all of us will periodically be posting our data. In fact we would encourage you to enter your data at monthly or quarterly intervals so that it does not accumulate and become a burden at the end of the year. Moreover you will also have a ready database of your cases anytime at the click of a button. Each individual/hospital registered on the website can anytime review their total database which has been submitted by them in that calendar year.

         We sincerely hope that data submission will be a responsible and pleasurable activity and we all will do it regularly.
